Classification: FixMe: Lunar meteorite (feldspathic melt breccia)

History: The fragment was purchased from a meteorite dealer in Algeria.

Physical characteristics: Grayish rock partly covered with fusion crust.

Petrography: The meteorite is a melt-breccia predominantly composed of up to 2.5 cm sized anorthositic clasts set in a black, mostly finely crystallized melt rock matrix showing flow textures. Main minerals are anorthite plus less abundant olivine and pyroxene often showing weak compositional zoning. Minor phases include ilmenite, Ti-bearing chromite, troilite, and kamacite.

Geochemistry: zoned olivine: Fa26.1±1.2 (Fa24.6-27.9, FeO/MnO=86±5; n=7); zoned pyroxene: Fs21.7±1.2Wo7.9±1.5 (Fs19.9-23.2Wo6.3-10.3, FeO/MnO=49±3, n=7); calcic plagioclase: An96.2±0.7 (An94.8-96.7, n=7)
