This meteorite fell in spring 1927 in Nigeria.  Total mass was 103 kg. It was recovered from a shallow hole 8 years after its fall.
Udei Station was initially classified as a mesosiderite, and only more recently has been reclassified as an anomalous silicated iron (Handbook of Iron Meteorites, Buchwald)
